In 2015, the Persatuan Pemudi Islam Singapura (PPIS) assisted 250 children from less fortunate families by providing for their school needs. Through the donations from members of the public, each child received a brand new school bag filled with a set of colour pencils, a pencil box, water bottle, an English story books and stationeries.
In 2016, Braddell Heights Youth Network (BHYN) collaborated with RHB Bank Berhad Singapore, ComfortDelgro Cabbycare Charity Group to organise Bags for School 2016. Bags for School 2016 reached out to 1,500 children from less fortunate families residing in the South East, North East and Central Singapore Districts.
With the tools to go to school and not having to worry about having insufficient stationeries, BHYN hopes that the children will be able to materialise their aspiration and achieve their dreams.
